Procore Technologies is hiring a Senior QA Engineer (Automation) for its Product & Technology QA Engineering team in Bengaluru. Positioned inside the mission-critical User Identity, Authentication, and Access Management (UIAM) division, this highly technical role safeguards the security, tenant isolation, and reliability of core identity layers powering millions of construction sector users worldwide. Moving past basic visual UI testing, you will design, script, and implement programmatic automation test frameworks to continuously evaluate high-concurrency authentication protocols, token validations, and granular authorization trees. You will collaborate cross-functionally with globally distributed developers, security architects, and DevOps squads to review requirements, execute end-to-end API testing, run dense system integration sweeps, and champion software quality through strict Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of verified professional experience operating as a software test engineer or QA automation architect within an enterprise environment.
• Proven background testing and validating Identity & Access Management (IAM) architectures, authentication/authorization pipelines, and central identity protocols inside a multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS ecosystem running at global scale.
• Advanced hands-on development expertise engineering, scaling, and maintaining programmatically stable test automation suites utilizing Cypress and JavaScript.
• Structural code comprehension and scripting capability in backend compiled languages, preferably Java and Golang.
• High-level execution mastery across multi-layered testing planes—including complex System Integration (SIT), continuous Regression, high-concurrency Performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong technical background running deep API testing routines (REST/GraphQL), combined with a working exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) paradigms.
• Exceptional logical skills to analyze dense technical requirements documentation for systemic consistency, completeness, and functional correctness.
• Proven capability to track and manage multiple high-priority test engineering projects concurrently, lead root-cause troubleshooting loops, and coordinate effectively with globally distributed, cross-functional squads.
• Complete fluency in both spoken and written English, with the soft skills necessary to recommend product updates based on modern accessibility and usability standards.
